From our network of springs and streams, Wild Wells will hold more water in the landscape to help ease flooding and drought, safeguarding our water security and that of the towns downstream. Aquifers will be recharged as the flow slows and can seep through the soil, raising the water table for the benefit of all. More water near the river, and stored in bunds and ponds, means more freshwater habitat, a boost for biodiversity.
